A school district in Cloquet, MN, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support student success and well-being. This role involves working within a school setting and includes some travel to multiple locations within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to students
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and administrators on behavioral and learning challenges
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding student services
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology or School Psychology
- Appropriate licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Minnesota
- Experience conducting assessments and providing interventions in K-12 school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with students, families, and educators
- Ability to manage travel between schools within the district as needed
